ASOPROCALA Christmas Luncheon 2017

For a second year, on December 16, 2017, Guangala organized a special Christmas luncheon for members of Los Angeles Cocoa Farmers Association for Agricultural Production (ASOPROCALA) and their families. Mr. Francisco Miranda of Guangala, Guangala’s Administrative Manager, headed the event, and was accompanied by Andres Bastidas, Rafaela Orrantia and other collaborators of Guangala’s Sustainability Department.

Each year, Guangala recognizes the efforts of ASOPROCALA for the implementation of sustainability certification schemes and incorporating up to date agricultural practices in cocoa management according to the Guangala Certified program norms and regulations. Guangala presented the community with gifts and candy for the children, and many leisure activities were carried out by members of the Sustainability team in celebration of the Christmas season.
