The new training and awareness program

From the beginning of our sustainability program, we are providing informational lectures to the workers of the group member farms. Until now, topics of responsible use of pesticides, health and basic hygiene were primarily discussed. Now, the sustainability department is developing a new training and awareness program with a new structure and contents. The program comprises of modules, which cover several topics. In order to test it, different modules were created, which cover an introduction to the concept of certification and sustainability, safe and responsible handling of pesticides, and other topics of labor safety.

Furthermore, awareness meetings will be carried out for the workers and their families about topics, such as child labor, workers´ rights and equal rights and opportunities for women.
